Strictly between those two options, I'd go with being cybernized ... kids suck.

Just for that anytime anyone presses a button red or otherwise you get herpes and they get $25.00 and a Starbucks.

i got a kid and a happy life. this reminds me of one How i met your mother episode, the one with barney and his "happy not a father day". its usually the ones that almost any woman wouldnt want to have kids with that are anti kids in the first place.

You know I could always say something flippant such as. You can’t deduce the realities of a building vs an obvious reference to coffee.

But damn it you win because the entire premise of what I said is fiction so Good Question!

    Smart Question.

Extremely easy choice. I rather be augmented. Only reason we desire to have children is to pass on our existence. Living forever takes care of that.

I don't see the reason to stay alive as long as possible or somehow make brand your life on this world. I mean besides being nihilistic - it would be quite bothersome to turn your head back all the time to make sure your legacy on the world you died is still rolling. And if the nihilists are right - well then whatever legacy you created will at some time fall into the same void as you did with your death.

I feel like this applies to a lot of people, and the assumption that these things would be equal to most people is kind of baffling. It's like saying hey would you want an orange or a billion dollars?

The universal reply from someone who doesn't have kids then later regrets not having kids.

Plot twist: Anyone who chose the android body will die from suicide less than 5 years from the transfer, due to psychological issues of human mind rejecting the now non-human body.

    Wasn't long life afterall

Depends if you’re prepared. Me I’d be 100% fine with it. Might take not sensing certain levels of pleasure or pain. But it be worth it.

Should I point out the obvious? No one can be prepared for something they have no sort of reference for.

I’m 35, I’m past any desire to have kids, which was never strong anyway. And my body is trash. Still a win for 5 years of a body I can do something with.

Sure you can people have prosthetic limbs replace what they lost, all the time, and these people often go on, even though they didn't give up these functions by choice.

This is a process that a person can decide to do or not.

I don't understand, are both choices good or both choices bad?

Because I neither want to have kids nor want to live as a android. I would just choose death tbh.
