Suggestions for another MMO to tryout?

Ah, a bit of everything. HoT is what made me laugh at people complaining about navigating a zone. Though, mounts now? Yup, been away for a long time.

Agreed completely w/ your first sentence. PoF has mounts, which can be used (almost) everywhere in older zones as well. Each has a specific ability, as well as mastery for you to unlock other elements, much like gliding in HoT. The unlock on mounts is also account wide, which I found kind of odd, but they are certainly well done.

New elite specs per class as well.

Nope, but it's available with this month's Humble Bundle if you're into Humble Bundles.

Otherwise I've seen it frequently go on sale for as low as £6

Tried Elder Scrolls Online?

Can't recommend that game enough, completely different to most MMO's on the market which is, of itself, commendable.

You can explore to your hearts content too since it has level scaling.

This. And like others have already said, GW2 is also a nice change of pace.

Nah, but the game can come really cheap if you look at the right stores. I paid 10 euros for it on PSN.
Also there's no sub needed to play it.

That's out? It's not an MMO for one thing. It's made by the guys who made Gothic/Risen.

If you are anything else, like if you are a semi-serious player, but who only plays 2-3 hours/night, and doesn't want to spend RL money much, I suspect the game will seem fun at first, but frustrate you within a month or three.

That's about where I fell with Guild Wars 2, but I would still recommend it, there's fun to be had.

Guild Wars 2 - if you want a light-weight, easy access fantasy MMO similar to WoW
EVE Online - if you want real, old school, forced grouping MMO

EVE is fantastic - but it's very hardcore.

And right there I know you wouldn't like any of my suggestions. FFXIV is possibly one of the best MMOs.

SWTOR for the storytelling (every MMO fan needs to have experienced it) and GW2 for the overall polish in general. I also advise Wildstar because it's still a gorgeous game with great combat and most issues have been solved. Too bad no one plays it and no one ever will. So enjoy it while you can and give it a spin.

Bless Online if you live in South Korea or have GOOD internet and vpn. Game reminds me about vanilla WoW - interesting world PvP, difficulty of dungeons, no pay to win in game shop and anime style in minimum for asian MMO.

GW2 is similar to ESO in its combat, you basically just autoattack depending on your class and a skill thrown in here or there with a lot of emphasis on avoiding attacks which is sometimes difficult when you're dying of an epileptic seizure from particle effects. I mained a thief and my rotation in pve was literally '1' and dodge... spvp is filled with cancerous scrub friendly builds, GW1 is rolling in its grave right now.

I felt ESO succeeded where GW2 failed aside from pvp which is awful in both, its story is far superior and the quests feel like an adventure instead of a grind. You are basically playing skyrim online and will most likely enjoy the game more if you treat it as such instead of an MMO at least until you hit end game. I would recommend buying it just to experience the freedom and immersion, music is amazing and it easily has the best voice acting of an MMO imo.

Alas, neither have the staying power of WoW, eventually you return.

Oh I forgot about secret world which is now F2P, it has amazing stories in it.

Any grindy mmo out there, that is worth putting time into and not feel so NOT rewarding? as example WoW does not feel rewarding.
