Just noticed something about GAF that I didn't a second ago. All threads with the exception of the gaming ones are gone. The off-topic threads that were the source of most of the criticism have been deleted.

Lots of folks committing forum suicide with rants and demands to be banned because Off-Topic was removed (and thus the only real place they can infest) and I believe Moderators are cracking down on unnecessary politics in video game threads.

It has not been deleted, it will be restored and be back open. It is currently closed but will reopen minus political conversations which are no longer allowed.

There is the site owner and a single mod remaining. The only way the site was ever going to survive was Evillore stepping down and the site being restructured. Those who still post on NeoGAF (with the exception of those just posting shit to get themselves banned) are either transferring over to sites like Waypoint/Giantbomb, platforms like Discord, or waiting for the NeoGAF replacement site which is being headed by some former moderators and industry insiders.

Just visited the site. I've never seen so many hardline SJWs in one place. These guys make the average MMO-C left-winger look like angels.

Yup, and all of the REEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEing people on GAF that made the place shitty in the first place in the past 5-6 years.

The only person they supposedly got that doesn't bother me is Laura Kate Dale, but if they got all of the shitty (there were a couple good ones) mods that enabled the stupid shit on GAF then its going to be a very interesting carnival to watch in the coming years. I don't foresee a lot of game devs/reps popping I on their new forum really.

It'll probably be a very fun place to do some low-key trolling on tbh.

Except his behaviour in this instances while is douche, it's also in line with the "power play" flirting mentality. Legal or barely legal, I doubt any judge in EU would sentence the guy to anything other than maybe a fine in the case of him feeling the spanish's girl behind.
