I know it hasn’t been discussed much but, didn’t they remove Prince Farondis from doing most of the voice overs for the Azsuna WQs in 7.3? Maybe he’s involved with Azshara coming up? (In the being captured sense)

No, they didn't do that. It was a hoax. All WQs voiced by Farondis are still voiced by him. All examples of WQs cited back then were already voiced by other characters in 7.0. And Farondis always disappeared once you finish the Tidestone questline.

I looked at the model in WoWModelViewer and saw that this turtle-shape-hidden-continent-thing appears on both the south and north pole of the planet.



It looks like a pretty obvious texturing hiccup to me, although I did notice that one of the shapes resembled the profile of a face.

The odds of a pirate-themed Hearthstone expansion*, you mean? Because if anything, this seems to be shitting on any theories of a pirate-themed WoW expansion. They wouldn't have the same theme with both games.
