Consider the Kony 2012 comparison I mentioned. Now imagine if someone told me, "Wow you're making fun of Kony 2012, you must not care about children being kidnapped and forced into an army and women into sexual slavery!"

If the allegation is true, I can still forgive him and look past his previous actions. We've all made mistakes in the past and this is no different. He said it before he was in office, which means you should have known about it.

Bill Clinton being a terrible person does not make Trump a better person. Trump still sexualized his daughters (among other things), and you still supported him. No amount of deflection is going to change that.

I have to say: gray area. Rapp is gay, and my opinion on this is affected by something that happened to one of my friends years ago.

When my friend was 15, he had known he was gay since (as he told me) he was 10. He told me (years later) that when he was 15, he was propositioned by and had sex with a 32 year old co-worker of his father. I started to tell him I'm so sorry, honored that he would trust me to tell me, etc etc
