Hopefully we can join a Desolate Council. Not interested in the war either, it's what turned me away from MoP.

I mean, MoP was fine for the most part. 5.0 was learning about new lands and exploring. 5.2 was about the Thunder King. I didn't even play the war parts of the game until it was a raid. And even then, it was more like I wanted to stop Garrosh from bringing evil old god shit into my city.

This is literally "War!!!!!" the fucking expansion. We haven't had war since... literally forever. People have been saying it was about time to remove faction limitation altogether and then they dump this load of shit on us lol

I'm all for not having the villain of the year expansion but there is sooo much more they could do with the game.

I can see the strat here. Bring in legacy servers, bring in an xpack that focuses on what made Vanilla fun.

I won't play it. However, I'm glad that people can finally shut up about it. Also, it will be nice to see just how popular it will actually be, and if they ultimately regret pooling the resources for it. We'll be able to see if it actually can pay itself off, though I still severely doubt it, as even the developers announcing it seem to not be totally convinced of this.

So when they say the "vanilla experience", do they mean having 4-5 loot drops for 40 people? Specs only having 1 spec in reality? Overtuned bosses?

Better than the hand-holding and welfare loot that we see in some parts of the game now. I'm open to them trying this out and see where it goes.
