Something interesting I discovered while looking into these Senate races: Alabama turned red so recently that before Jeff Sessions, it was solid blue all the way back to the 1800s. In fact there was only one Republican in that seat before him, for one term in 1868.

I knew the flip happened in modern times but I thought it was the 60s and 70s - Sessions took Alabama in the 90s.

The southern strategy wasn't an instant thing. It was an ongoing thing.

And lets be honest even if it goes dem it's going to be a democrat like Manchin most likely. He'll gladly work with mainstream republicans on most issues and just side with dems on a few things. In states this red a democrat is basically a republican and a republican is a extremist like Moore.

He admitted that 3/4 girls in the story were true. The only one he is attempting to deny is the one that was illegal. Personally I call bullshit on the denial and claims of "I don't recall".

Last night I saw an article from someone who worked with him when he was a DA who said "everyone in the office knew he went to high school football games to pick up young girls."

I have no reason to suspect it's a lie. I'm sure the investigation was started to dig up dirt on him, for sure. That doesn't mean the dirt is fake.

He already confessed to dating teenagers in his 30s on Hannity, here's some of it.

Here's the uncomfortable truth -- it could be both a hatchet job AND true. He's already admitted to most of it and there is really zero reason to trust his word that the other part isn't true. It fits his pattern, his behavior he's already admitted, and has a pretty hefty level of corroboration.

There is no reason to defend this guy at this point. This is an election, not a trial. There is zero reason to elect someone who has admitted to this type of behavior.

What crazy is how PC is such an important issue for so many people in the US that they are willing to vote a pedophile to spite the evil liberals.

It's not about PC it's Alabama they have laws about marrying cousins, it's best to think of them like Saudi Arabia more than America. Even before this Roy Moore was openly racist and homophobic I doubt pedophilia is what would stop them from voting for him.
