Lots of snarky and shitty comments just because he was a relatively unknown rapper to the mainstream. He had some jams but overall was just a flash in the pan in the world of internet driven rappers, the bigger issue is he died of what is becoming a more and more prevalent cause of death in young people. Don't have to mourn for him, but he is now the poster boy for a problem gripping the US.

Pretty much all rappers only rap about selling drugs and killing, gangbanging and other nice stuff, not the best influence for young people.

    I too can't use google

Benzo and opioid abuse is on the rise and killing young people.

Lil Peep was very popular in the internet rap scene and hopefully kids will look at his death as a condemnation on drug abuse, especially when afflicted with mental illness. Lil Peep has said "there are days I just didn't want to wake up."

Ahahahaha, look who's coming up with an attitude. I have survived a war, the horrors I've experienced are things you don't even have nightmares about.
There's nothing some whigga with tattoos or YOU can do to scare me. Bring the army with you, maybe I'll consider backing down in real life.

And I have never even heard of Lil Peep so he can't be too popular, but to say that he will be looked as a poster boy is just silly. As I said earlier, he's just another notch in the belt of ''famous people'' dying to a drug. Tomorrow nobody will even remember him.
Nobody will remember him in the mainstream because he didn't get a second of radio play as far as I'm aware. But as I said, he was very popular in the underground and internet scene. It's like if a minecraft youtuber died, you wouldn't know him and I wouldn't know him but it would make an impact in the scene they were part of and I'd hope they would be seen as a warning.

Also lol if drug overdose in young people being on the rise is a hot take you needed evidence for, it's been in the news cycle non-stop for the better part of a year.

I was like all of you, I didn't know who he was. I don't EVEN listen to that kind of music... but a few months ago I heard this song. It's eerie how right he was. He knew he would die by an overdose or similar.

    Song link:

I really enjoy this song, he had something going that was rather unique. You can't take that away from him.

Well apparently he was extremely depressed, and both he and his manager expected him to die from an overdose within the year.

    Self-medicating is never the solution.

    a shame he died.

but, it's clearly not a significant loss. his contributions to the decay of western society will not be missed.

He is a hero, he brought love and light in the homes of at least a few hundred people around the country, that is more than many will do.

He predicted his death like some of the greats, Buddy Holly, Richie Valenz and 2pac

Feel free to prove that claim.

I've never heard of him, but it's still sad that he overdosed.

But fuck all of you taking shots at someone who died, no matter how. Grow up, children. No matter what you think of him, he had a family, friends, and fans. Try not being a shitty person and someone might miss you too when you die.

Check mate nothing, says a YouTube video has views and likes doesn't prove he brought love and light to hundreds.
