but it does seem to work a lot faster. hate the squareness though, i hate how all modern things are boxy and square now. go back to fucking curves.

it broke some of the addons i really need, like roomy bookmarks - and some addon developers are not willing to update or say it can't be made to work with new firefox.

Also a lot of the new UI buttons seem unnecessary and intrusive but there currently isn't an easy way to remove them, unless you go editing firefox files (the little "customize" panel does not cover all the options needed).

Was this your first major update? It usually takes a few days for addon authors to update.

Also you dont need noscript with ublock.

I've been using Firefox for years now, but Quantum made me switch to Chrome.
It's so disgustingly slow it's not even funny.

Not saying you are lying but FF doesnt use half the resources that Chrome does.

Only real upside I've found so far is that I can chain watch YouTube videos in full-screen and not have to reload the page when exiting full-screen. Not exactly huge but it's an improvement I suppose. On the other hand, I'm tired of bookmarking when I mean to refresh..

Was this your first major update? It usually takes a few days for addon authors to update.

In the case of Roomy Bookmarks (which is an addon I'm upset about too), the author has refused to update for Firefox. He focuses on chrome now and says people can learn to write an alternative themselves if they care that much. It's been unsupported officially for a number of patches but didn't actually stop working until this latest version.

Which has generated many sads.

Sick to death of them changing the UI, changing this, changing that, breaking addons I *REQUIRE* because I'm visually impaired (forcing me to get a friend out to fix it because while I use to do this shit for a living I can't actually see to fix it myself... so much for accessibility Firefox. 10pt non-scalable font for settings GG) and just wish I could fully switch to Chrome but not all the addons I need are there.

I don't know which addons you use, but FYI NoSquint is classified as "Legacy" but still works. That is an addon I use heavily for similar reasons.

Crypto miners rigs use the cheapest cpu / ram /mobo they can get since 100% of the work is done by the GPU. You just need enough to boot into an OS.

And a rather expensive PSU to power all of the GPUs. AMD's fare isn't exactly energy efficient, and even nVidia's offerings are going to require at 1500w PSU if you're running seven GPUs at max load.

Yea, I don't really notice a difference other than half my addons broke with the update. Makes me sad that this always happens.

I like it. Seems to be faster. I preferred the old UI however. But none of the changes are critical and I can get use to it. I like how I can disable Flashplayer and then with one click enable it for use if I need to. Avoid a lot of the popup adds which use Flashplayer that way.

Use to use it, got broken all the fucking time by updates and the developer being a giant dick.
