Basel get a late minute goal, had been coming for awhile. Utd were poor today. Blind was dogshit.

Only highlight was Rojo is back and played a full game. Maybe one game this season might have our best CB pairing of bailly/rojo if injuries dont keep happening. One can dream

    Atletico 2-0 Roma
    Juve 0-0 Barcelona

For a team needing a win, Juve offered up hardly anything until the last minute.

At least we got finally rid of Rooney and replaced him with a 36 year old zlatan ibrahimovic who is recovering from knee ligament surgery.

Playing for a point away at the mighty Basel.

Even our team of shitlords would have put three past those journeymen.
    Embarrassing.

On the other hand you've got PSG: what a team they've assembled.
Pastore, Kimpenbe, Meunier and Di Maria on the bench. All starters for 99% of teams out there.

Gotta love that we now have to get a good result in the last game at home against Moscow. Normally that aint a big issue, but there is Arsenal away 3 days before that and City at home 4 days after. Would have been nice to rest some good players against Moscow, but that will be a tough week now.

United created chances and failed to capitalise. Hit the woodwork 2-3 times, was cleared off the line on at least one occasion. Failed to put the game away.

Ande Moscow will be playing out of their skin.

Similar to Liverpool's situation where the last game is pivotal.
(Both teams in the two worst groups as well - weird)

    You are already qualified though

Edit: actually if Moscow beat you by 6, and Basel win as well, you are out.

Pogba is 2 games back in from a lengthy injury, hasnt even played a full match. Low blows targeting him

I'm surprised we haven't had a Champions League final in Doha or Abu Dhabi yet

I edited my statement. But they are essentially qualified unless they absolutely collapse

It's head to head not GD in the group stages though right?

If it's a three way tie, all 3 teams will be on 6 points. It will then go to goal difference between the three teams.

Yeah so barring a 6-0 loss United are ok then.

    Fairly unlikely.

Pookaku can't do it in important games.
He relies on others for service. He needs on it a plate. So glad we dodged him in the summer.

Morata however, is a complete striker and is able to fashion chances for himself and for others.

Morata missed some chances today though. Strange to say but finishing has never been his strong suit. His overall game is darn good though.
