A Split From Trump Indicates That Flynn Is Moving to Cooperate With Mueller via @NYTimes https://t.co/G5jgcPvP2L

Looks as though Flynn is fully cooperating with Mueller. He told Trump's lawyers he (Flynn) cannot share information anymore.

That would confirm my suspicions as to why Mueller doesn't already have Flynn's head on a spike.

Gotta love how as the Trump administration fills up with concrete evidence of Russian interference and collusion, as well as knowledge of Trump gaining much of his fortune from drug money, among many many many many many other things piling up, the only reason these threads are even active any more is to post news of the latest illegal thing Trump or someone from his team has done.

The Trumpkins barely even try to defend it any more. I mean look at the last page. Concrete evidence of intereference to the tune of 400k that we know of and the defense for it was "ONLY 400k? That's not a lot!" Yes, clearly the LAW is all about whether or not you spent a lot of money, not if you actually did something illegal.

The next time I punch someone my defense will be "But hey, at least I didn't kill him, so no harm no foul." I'm sure that'll work great in court.

Well it probably will for Trump and his goons. Money buys influence... but then again our judicial system has been doing a splendid job of kicking Trump in the nuts, so we can be hopeful.

Obviously the big news is Flynn. But let's not forget Trump intentionally hired a Ukrainian/Russian agent to run his campaign.

And lets NOT forget that very same "Ukranian/Russian Agent" was the one who personally hand-picked and force-introduced Mike Pence to Dumbass Dump and convinced Dumpy to select him as his VP over Chris Christy.

I'm not believing Petulant Pence is squeaky-clean from all this either...

With Manafort behind Door Number One and Flynn likely behind Door Number Two, more and more sources are wondering what's behind Door Number Three. The consensus is Kushner.

We've known he's been ordered to turn over documents to the House, Senate, and Mueller. That's not new.

Axios reports that Kushner is pre-emptively defending his pre-emptive failure to meet deadlines of turning over documents to the Senate. They're due today.

The WSJ reported that Mueller's investigation now includes Kushner's contacts with Russians.

In an interview, Kushner defended his shrinking role in the WH (remember when he used to run everything? Kushner does, read the article) by saying he'd rather specialize in one thing (like a hedgehog) than dabble in many.
Considering Kushner's "hedgehog" role is Israeli-Palestinian peace talks, it must have hurt when the Palestinians cut contact with Kushner after the WH threatened to close their DC offices. Naturally, the WH has caved on this threat.

We've seen stories that Trump blames Kushner for the Mueller investigation, which makes sense, because Kushner "sold" Trump on Manafort in the first place.

And Business Insider reports that Gen. Kelly wants Javanka out of the WH by the end of the year. And supposedly, Trump wants them to go as well.

Trump only wants them home so they don't get in more trouble and hoping that Mueller doesn't somehow find more dirt on Kushner and possibly even Ivanka, although she seems the least crazy of the Trumps, but just because you put your head in the sand doesn't mean the shit pile you left behind suddenly disappears.

Ivanka is Donald Jr. The one named Donald Jr is just a son who constantly tries to seek validation from his father but never quite gets the affection he is looking for.

But Ivanka, shes is what Trump always wanted. She is just as slimy as the rest of them but its behind an inoffensive "sweet lovly American blond" package that allows her to play innocent and woe unspecting people would otherwise see through the same crap coming from Donnie himself. She is his Ace in the Hole. Kushner is the naive puppet that you better believe is part of the Trump warped eugenics ideology going back to 'good ole boy' Fred Trump (Sr) and his father.

I wouldnt trust Ivanka to walk my dog down the street.

You could make that argument for Trump himself.

In the ongoing effort to have the least efficient and least transparent administration of all time, Trump is now banning his staff members from using their phones.

"Yeah but surely all those classified meetings and -- "

They're already required to hand off their phones for classified meetings. This would be all the time for E.O. staffers.

Of course, Team Trump is trying to crack down on all the leaks about all that stuff they're doing. And they might be worried about being recorded -- that's why I posted in this thread. Naturally, Trump would be exempt.

McGahn, one of Trump's lawyers, supposedly yanked a letter out of Trump's hands -- the letter saying Trump was firing Comey, because Comey refused to pledge loyalty. If McGahn told him this was illegal (which it is), and Trump fired Comey anyhow, that's textbook obstruction of justice.

Kind of ironic: by trying to save Trump from legal trouble, he put himself in Mueller's sights, which in turn will put Trump in legal trouble.

    "But attorney client privilege!"

    Nope.

A federal appeals court ruled in 1998, at the height of the Monica Lewinsky scandal involving President Bill Clinton, that there was no attorney-client privilege between a government lawyer and a government employee as it related to a grand-jury inquiry
    .

It should also be noted that, while McGahn may have been the one to yank one letter out of Trump's hands, he probably should have kept going. One of Trump's personal attorneys claimed Trump had nothing to do with the letter Trump wrote about Trump Jr. meeting with a Russian lawyer in Trump Tower. Which it turns out, he totally did write, and the letter was almost entirely lies. McGahn might know more about that, too, based on his professional role at the time.
    a) If Trump did consult with McGahn, and McGahn helped write the letter full of lies, and then allowed one of Trump's personal lawyers to lie about Trump writing it, at best McGahn's a witness to such, and at worst he's a co-conspirator.
    b) If Trump did not consult with McGahn, his official government lawyer, about official government topics, then Trump was either clueless about how much trouble he was in -- or, worse, did know, and didn't want to be told to stand down from doing something unethical and possibly illegal.
    Neither option is redeeming.

It's also quite likely that McGahn has information regarding the firing of Yates, when Yates told Trump about Flynn being chummy with a Russian ambassador, but had lied about this. And by "likely" I mean "Yates testified under oath that she told McGahn personally".

Mueller is set to interview McGahn in the next couple of weeks.

    Kushner interviewed by Mueller.

The focus, reportedly, was about his dealings with Flynn. The sort of thing you'd expect to ask about after Flynn testifies.

    Hmm.

Flynn has spilled the beans on what he knows, and he is seeing if Kushner will break the law by lying to the FBI.

He can reveal that he has broken the law (which Mueller likely already knows), or he can make it worse for himself by lying about it. It'll definitely be interesting to see what happens.
