I prefer Mio's (see sig), but Yui's is definitely suited for the higher energy songs like that and the opening songs. I can't imagine anyone else singing this.

Since I'm here, the new season is meh. Only show that's really keeping me interested is Recovery of an MMO Junkie. Moriko is a kindred spirit. There's also Love Live Sunshine season 2, but I think I enjoyed season 1 more.

Sansha Sanyou (Three Leaves, Three Colors) is one of my new favorite shows. I really love the style of humor in the show and have been watching many more shows looking for a similar style. So far, nada. Interesting characters being funny, and not in a typical anime way. Almost in a western sitcom way.

Interviews with Monster Girls is also solid enough for a rewatch. Hoping for a second season, along with Miss Kobayashi's Dragon Maid.

Mio has some really great songs yea. or rather, every mio song is great. This one is probably my favourite Mio song.

Check Houseki no Kuni and Just Because if you haven't done so already. I'd say those two are pretty popular here.

I forgot about the movie songs. Every time I rewatch the series, I'm emotionally drained by the end, so I skip the movie.

Mio definitely has a great selection. Surprisingly, none of her character songs are about animals. If it's not No Thank You, it's Heart Goes Boom. Just a solid rock song. Although I think I prefer the English lyrics to Pure Pure Heart over any of the others she wrote.

For Yui, it has to be U & I. The fact she wrote a meaningful song says it all.

Gotta throw in Mugi too. Honey Sweet Tea Time is catchy as hell.

Can't get into Ritsu or Azusa's voices. Although Azusa's voice is supposed to be intentionally bad? I imagine they wouldn't do it on official recordings, but it's canon.

Speaking of looking for similar shows, I haven't another show I've gotten into the music as much as this either. Solid, rock/power-pop, diverse, full band style, and I love rock with keyboard/piano in it.

No, it was the first season (although, they are oddly "numbered"). It's just really weird. I was expecting a high school slice of life school band thing. Instead, girl gets sucked into her mobile game and spends most of the episode as a weird 3D doll thing.

IIRC the weird 3d stuff isn't used as much as they do it in the first episode (you kind of get used to it too). also isekai so hot right now
