If Trump were to pardon them, it would mean that they suddenly could not invoke the 5th amendment against self incrimination because they would not be able to incriminate themselves. So all the things that members of Trump's staff keep 'forgetting?' Suddenly they can't 'forget' them anymore, and it begs the question of why they were trying so hard to 'forget' these things in the first place.

Also, you're saying that you're going to laugh when the President pardons people who committed federal crimes because you want to send a message to your political opponents. You *do* realize how morally bankrupt that is, right?
