The list also includes gems, enchants and reforging. (Excluding all profession enchants/bonuses and items).

*important* reforging is completely optional and somewhat based on preferences. It is best to balance out both Crit and Haste (Try to keep at least 916 haste minimum). If you feel mana is an issue for you, try swapping out the purified demonseye to pure spirit (sparkling ocean sapphire).

Correct, maybe I'll try to make it more clear that reforging is optional, especially if you have non-regen trinkets.
Otherwise it's good to keep a balance between Crit and Haste.

Explain the lack of Core of Ripeness or Dream Owl, the two best trinkets for resto.

Stacking haste is stupid too. Crit is loads better since it doubles as a regen stat.

You have belt of the still dream, but not Sash of Prophecy? It has the exact same stats except for 130 mastery, it has 130 haste. If that isn't overall better I don't know what is, you were reforging the mastery on it anyways to haste.

Stacking haste was good in WOTLK when there was pretty much no resource management needed. Therefor the thought process of healing more often = bigger HPS was valid. Add a resource management into the equation and mana becomes a limiting factor when thinking on more heal = HPS. Crit however increases the amount of healing therefore needing less casts and meaning mana is easier to manage. Plus Improved Water shields proc off crits for more mana. Not saying you should stack crit either with this. You should get a healthy balance of the stats.

Apart from being very wrong about reforging, this is not that bad.
(Please don't reforge to haste, its going to cost alot to turn it back once you get into those raids and release that you can't keep mana going for 7minute fights).

Hmm, I'm pretty sure that BoE randomdrops do not drop in ilvl 346 version, so especially the two random rings are not available.

Also you should add in the leatherworking epics (they do exist!), as far as I can remember the crafted belt was BiS on my personal list.

Agreed. Corrupted Egg Shell isn't that hot. A pitiful shield + a weak regen tool. There are many better options.

Another trinket option would be the Witching Hourglass from BRC.

Haste is the "losing" stat in Cataclysm, but you should not neglect it at all. As I already posted in another thread, the Haste Proc is a powerful tool to speed up things (especially in combination with Hurricane weapon enchantment) without focusing on haste stat-wise on your equipment.

My thoughts on this:

Haste makes me go out of mana faster.
Mastery helps me if someone is about to die.
Crit helps me get more mana back (Tear of Blood) and have to cast less.

In scenarios where the only person taking damage is the tank I'd take crit over all other stats. Riptide + Unleash Elements + Greater Healing Wave is healing for 35k ~ 60k currently depending on lucky crits.

Where there's several persons getting hit (as in raid / boss AoE) haste could help but would evaporate my mana, mastery would help after people's HP starts getting really bad, crit would help all the time.

From my point of view there isn't a good reason to gem / reforge haste at all and mastery isn't good enough yet (for the current level of raiding / gear). Personally I'm going for mail pieces with spirit + crit on them everywhere and socket Potent Ember Topaz (Int+Crit) or Purified Demonseye (Int+Spi).
