How about this revolutionary idea. Don't remove EMFH or any other racials.

Instead they should disable racials in in PvP. ALL of them, no exceptions.

Yes, that would work. Suggested many times to Blizzard. They won't listen.

Have they ever said why that is?

Outside of PvP most racials are more flavor than anything else. Sure they have their uses: Trolls racial that increased damage dealt to beasts was good for ToT since there was a couple of beast bosses and EMFH is useful if a boss stuns the player, but no racial is really an "issue" in a PvE environment.

Just disable all racials in any form for arena and battleground. This includes "battlegrounds" like Wintergrasp, TB and Ashran.

Outside of these areas racials can still be used.

They think they don't need to disable racials in PVP because they can make it work as is, etc. The reality is that they've been trying for three expansions already, failing miserably every time.

I see racials as a way of getting people to play an unpopular race. Humans were popular already and then they got the pvp trinket racial. It almost seems like the devs made a mistake giving 'every man' to the humans.

But man, if you took the 'every man' racial away now, the WoW general forums would go nuts. People would threaten to quit, etc
