Hi there, I bought a new computer and I'm about to reinstall WoW. I started downloading the files from the Battle net desktop app but it's very slow. I downloaded about 3gb and I want to switch to the CD installation but I don't know should I delete these existing files that are already downloaded?

Fastest way to get WoW back up and running is just copying it from the old computer to new, you don't need to install anything besides the battle.net app. Simply use USB HDD to move over the files.

Well my old laptop is burned down completely , so there is no way to do it.
