    Multistrike and DK procs

I've been getting frustrated recently with the lack of clarity and abundance of misinformation about Multistrike and how it actually works for DKs.

For example, I just recently learnt that Killing Machine will cause any multistrikes to always crit.

Multistrike procs from auto attacks also appear to trigger our Runeforges. This was easiest to observe by whacking a dummy with a 2H weapon with Razorice on it. The debuff clearly gains a stack from multistrikes, and also triggers the full 11% weapon damage as frost damage (which can itself multistrike). This is despite the following statement from Celestalon in June:
Can multistrike melee hits proc "on melee hit" procs like killing machine and sudden doom?
No. Multistrikes cannot proc other things, unless those other things specifically call out that they proc from Multistrikes.

So can anyone confirm if Multistrike also increase the proc rate of Killing Machine and Rune of the Fallen Crusader as it appears to do?

And if so, have these things been taken into account in simulations?

It does increase your proccrate on KM, that is also one of the biggest reason why Multi is prio stat for 2h fdk.

Might of the frozen wastes,KM,RoTC, and that you got a 2hander that you use.

that is main reason why multistrike is so high on priority list.

So to answer your question simple Yes it proccs everything u are wondring if it proccs.

If its not intended i dont know but i know 100% it does procc.

I hope it doesn't get changed. It's a haven for many Frost DKs as you are not encouraged to button mash and are able to actually relax for once. Guess the same can be said for other classes as well.

This will roughly you priority while going with multistrike: STR > Mastery > Multistrike > Versatility > Crit > Haste
(As seen in WoWoverdrive's Youtube video of stat priority for Frost DK)

Mastery is first since 2/3 of your damaging abilities do so by frost.
Multistrike for reasons already stated as well as giving a chance to do extra.
Versatility increases all damage in general.
Critical strike of course hits diseases and gives chances to you hits an abilities to do extra damage as well and can affect multistrike too.
Haste is last since it is only needed in this build to provide general cooldown and an extra boost to your attack speed.

Probably the most wonderful thing about this is that Unholy has the same stat priority! So you can switch without worry!

Sadly since your sortof expected to get Haste for a normal build you may find it a bit difficult to acquire non-haste gear. However you should probably get the gear that is highest even if it's not multistrike or mastery, as a higher level gear will still be undoubtedly more affective (670 > 655).

Where did you get these stats from?

He got it from an extremely old/out of date video that was talking about stat weights at 630 back in December.
So basically. Nothing said meant anything

Rune of the Fallen Crusader was changed to the new rPPM system, (from the age-old PPM system it was using before) meaning the frequency of attacks (or in this case multistrikes) doesn't increase its uptime.

Unfortunately those stat priorities are completely wrong for both frost and unholy.
