Help with a logs issue

When I look at my rankings for Kargath heroic:

It shows me doing 21k on the Dec. 23rd parse.

When I drill into the parse itself:

it shows my effective dps at just under 24k.

So, what am I missing? I don't really care about my ranking or whatever, but I like to use the graphs to keep track of my progress as I get gear. Is this just a bug or am I missing some sort of normalizing that happens for this fight?

I'm a bit confused. Your ranking at this link: https://www.warcraftlogs.com/ranking...XN84#boss=1721 shows 23,988.1 DPS, which is exactly the same as your "effective" dps.

Your 21k parse from the first link you gave is from December 17, you just saw it wrong. The graph is good.

If you're by any chance confused about what effective dps is, it's your dps cut by the missing activity percentage. That's in place to prevent people who burst at the beginning and then died to be able to rank on the fight.

I swear that the graph showed lower than the actual log table did. I definitely know it wasn't a discrepancy between actual and effective. I swear it was not the same when I posted. I was seeing it on other mages too that I know on my server, but now everything matches.

So either it got fixed or I'm just crazier than I though.
