Faction Only achievements count for total?

I just started leveling my horde toon and noticed several achievements available that arent on my ally toon.

For example.

Im just a little confused about different faction toons. I would have thought that by completing the Shadowmoon version, ide have that... does that mean that there are achievements on the horde side that will give me points on my alliance toons since they can do achievements my alliance toons cant? Or are certain faction specific achievements like this one and shadowmoon, opposites, but dont count for each other (and dont count points).?

Faction achievements like Shadowmoon/Frostfire do not give point on the other faction, and in fact do not even show up on the other faction. Most achievements can be gotten regardless of faction, but the achievements that are specific to a faction always have a counterpart on the other faction.
