    You don't lose any rune regen as long as one rune of a given type is recharging. As it also eliminates human error, B is the best option. I don't dispute that C is theoretically superior-- it is. It's just not worthwhile in practice.

    Note this sidebar is completely separate from macroed vs. manual BT for the purpose of creating 6 Blood runes for sustained AE. That's still up in the air.

    If you're spending the Unholy-Death runes on BB they come back as BB, so you take at most ~50 seconds or so to get full death runes, and even then as it's been said you don't really need THAT many death runes. At most one extra for BB dumping is nice, but if you convert that last one you're essentially wasting the rune because you are going to use it on SR or DnD anyways so why not just leave it Unholy and turn a diff rune (when they are regening) into Death?
