Optimizing Followers: Which of the two approaches for Garona and Blook?

Hello everyone. I wanted to spark up a comparison discussion for something I cannot exactly be sure of.

As far as I know, there are mainly two approaches for follower optimization. The two are different in regards to how they employ Garona and Blook. The other parts namely scavenger team and leveling team are mostly the same.

    1) 3 follower super team with Garona and Blook for all important missions (Raids, apexis crystals, next tier legendary quest stones etc)
    4-5 follower scavenger team
2-3 follower leveling team (Includes Harry)
    Rest treasurehunters

    2) Treasure hunter team of Garona and Blook, possibly with a 3rd guy with epic mount.
    Scavengers
    Leveling team

Since I started late, I havent gotten Garona yet, hopefully getting her next reset. What I want to discuss is which approach is more advantageous. To me 1st approach looks safer, i.e once you get it rolling, nothing is going to prove troublesome. While the 2nd approach is more lucrative, i.e if you can get garona and blook do 1000g mythic missions, thats hell a lot of additional income.

    So what are your opinions?

Only if you're not using a Mage Tower/Spirit Lodge. Instant mission completion invalidates Epic Mount. I'd go with Scavenger/Treasure Hunter in that case.
