Reference Humor in WoW

TL;DR: What are some of the movie/game references you've come across while playing WoW.
EX. Harrison Jones in reference to Indiana Jones, or Westfall zone to CSI


I remember questing through zones in WoW and noticed that some of my favourite quest lines were the ones that were using reference humor to other games/series/movies.

Just curious to know what all WoW has done the hat tip to and put in the game.
The obvious being Indiana Jones with Harrison Jones.
I remember the Linkoln quest line in Ungoro (old) which was a nod to the Legend of Zelda Series.
New West Fall is a CSI spinoff.
I think storm peaks was all about Thor.

lost reference in sholozar. The numbers on the cover of some sort of underground shelter are magic numbers in lost + 1 (s1, s2) , as far as I remember.

The Red vs Blue reference in Bloodgulch, Twilight Highlands. Griff is a lazy horde that gives you a quest to get him food.
Also the optimistic red shirt wearing diplomat in Twilight Highlands.

Wow does reference itself and the forum community with the quest line going into hillsbrad where you have to play the role of quest giver for the 3 different players.
