    Classic - Ashenvale
    TBC - Nagrand
Wotlk - Very hard because i liked so many of them but i think Grizzly hills or Storm Peaks
    Cata - Vashj'ir , it's just a superb zone
MoP - I pretty much hated all the zones except Krasarang Wilds , so i guess i'll go with that
    WoD - Gorgrond

Zone design has changed much throughout the years, and it has changed for the worst. Gone are the zones that have a area or a road there just so it looks cool or to make the zone be / feel larger, zones now are a nothing but a point A to point B path where you go and kill the quest mob,a poor choice.

Vanilla: Duskwood. Best atmosphere. Tie with Stranglethorn.
Tbc: HFP, because first new zone ever OMGHYPE
wrath: Sholazar Basin. I generally hated all zones here, because levelling was too long and boring. This one at least looked good.
cata: Vashj'ir. Hated it first for being hard to navigate, but the artwork and the story makes it one of the best zones ever.
mop: All so boring, maybe the one that hosts the stupid farm.
wod: All of them are amazing, most of them host diverse themes, I can't pick one.

bc: hellfire peninsula. the red land with red orcs is my best theme!
    wotlk: nothing, maybe howling fjord.
cata: barens, stonetalon mountain, tarren mill.
    mists: nothing :P.
    wod: frostfire ridge.

Vanilla: Mulgorein terms of design, Hillsbrad Foothills in terms of fun
    TBC: Nagrand
    WotLK: Sholazar Basin
    Cata: The Lost Isles
MoP: Valley of the Four Winds in terms of design, Jade Forest in terms of fun
WoD: Nagrand in terms of design, Shadowmoon Valley in terms of fun

Can't wait to see the new zones in the new expansion. I already feel the thrill of adventure!

What are you talking about? WoD had plenty of hidden stuff and areas you wouldn't usually explore while questing. I think they took a step into the right direction.

    My favorites go like this:
Classic: Darkshore. The cataclysm almost broke my heart.
BC: Eversong Forest. Rarely has music enchanted me like this.
WotLK: Wintergrasp? Grizzly Hills? Howling Fjord? I don't know.
Cata: Vashj'ir. The story was very enjoyable and the music was ever so fitting. Plus I finally got to see the gnome submarine from the inside.
MoP: Jade Forest. But I also enjoyed the Kun Lai Summit. And again, the music. The MUSIC!
WoD: Shadowmoon Valley, hands down. It was sad that the further questing expirience could not keep up with it. Although Spires of Arak had an interesting story and some fitting music.

Vanilla:Tirisfal Glades and Dun Morogh because those were the 2 zones I started in and during the leveling process Winterspring.
Burning Crusade: Eversong Forest only made a Blood Elf to level 10-12 to quest there and see it.
Wrath: Tough choice between Grizzly Hills and Howling Fjord.
Cata: I'll go for revamped Desolace.
Mists: Kun Lai Summit but that's mostly because of the quests in the mountains.
    Warlords: Shadowmoon Valley.

Vanilla: Loved Loch Modan and the dam. Lore-wise, anything to do with Blackrock Mountain.
TBC: Netherstorm. All those magi-punk aesthetics to exploit or preserve the resources of a dead land were great.
WotLK: None really sticks out, they were all rather good.
Cata: Deepholm was great, I'd love to see another underground zone that isn't that circular. Uldum was the most fun, though.
MoP: Jade Forest was so incredibly dense in all axis and flowed really well. Kun-Lai had the most interesting mechanics while questing.
WoD: Arak had the only interesting stories but I hated the level design. Nagrand actually did something with the cliffs that wasn't just height-map based; I found that rather refreshing. Talador had some cool treasures, but all Draenei can go die in a ditch.

    Classic: Moonglade
    TBC: Zangramarsh
    WotLK: Storm Peaks
Cata: Vashj'ir - sure the pathing issues could be a minor annoyance but it's a unique zone that's a lot of fun
    MoP: Kun lai
    WoD: Frostfire ridge

Exilé sul le sol au milieu des huées,

Absolutely, I'm really disappointed that Blizzard didn't develop this area of the game. They just switched it out instead.
