Chef's Hat and Legion question

I don't have alpha so I can't check but long story short I earned the hat and later deleted it way too long ago for item restoration to be possible and was wondering if anyone knows whether just having the achievement unlocks it in the toy tab or not.

I'll grind it again if I have to but I'd rather not lol.

Isn't it 100 tokens though? So three months and ten days of that quest every day? Can see that being a bit of a put-off if it's been done before.

you can jump realm to get multiple quests. Bringing "two months and something" down to a few weeks

Yeah, I'm currently grinding all the old reps on my new main in preparation for legion + doing things like argent tourney/cooking daily to fill out my patterns anyways and was hoping I could skip the hat.

Thank you for the tip to realm hop for quests! Wowhead said it worked for the winterspring tigers (thank god), had no idea it was like that for other dailies. Time for me to see how many different dailies I can cheese.

Edit: ok just so people don't make the same mistake I did, you can only do 1 dalaran and 1 cata daily for cooking but you can server hop until you get one with the +2 token quest up. Silly me did the quest then went looking for more.

One advantage of being a packrat. I have no bank space ever, but I've never thrown away stuff like that even though I can't remember to use them.

Nah, it's 3 to 5 tokens/day (depends on quests you get) => 20-33 days.
