[Ele] Crit or Haste?

I have a quick question on our stat priority:
Stack Haste or Crit first?

I haven't really min-maxed since MoP, and back then, I remember you wanted to go all out on haste, since crit isn't that valuable as LB always crits when FS is up (Plus with the recent shock CD removal, there's no excuse on not having FS with a 100% uptime).
However, all sites like Icy Veins are suggesting Crit > Haste > Mastery and I've even seen some guides prioritize Versatility before Mastery (lolwut)

Some insight would be great before I start getting my JC patterns and gear!

Main reason is that Ascendance now scales with crit and its the no-brainer talent for that tier. Also consider elemental focus uptime. Crit increases uptime while haste decreases it.

OH - Yeah you're right didn't see that last bit on the tooltip.
That brings up another question.. Haste/Lightning Rod vs Crit/Ascendence.. I wonder how they stack against each other DPS-wise

Crit is still the best stat without Ascendance
