Personal vs Master Loot in EN Mythic

I've heard reports of guilds getting 7 items when using personal loot and only 4 if using master looter.

Does anyone have any information to share? Or did the personal loot group just get lucky?


Disclamer: I'm aware of how you can get lucky/ unlucky with personal loot, just want to know if you really get more on average and if yes, how much.

I believe it was designed to give more pieces of gear each boss, on average.

I believe personal loot gets more loot, but at the cost of not being able to dictate where it goes (for the most part)

Yup, pretty sure it will at minimum give a piece per 5 players but can give more. The minimum loot amount was added soon after the WoD release as getting no loot from a raid boss sucked hard (even if on average it was the same as master loot long term)
