Question about Warcraftlogs

hey, so I am wondering what is causing the discrepancy between two logs of the same fight on the site warcraftlogs. Neither log was uploaded by myself, one was by my gm and the other was someones personal log however there is nearly a 200k difference in my dps between both logs and im curious if anyone can tell me why. Id like to know how much dps Im accurately pulling. As I am new to the forums it wont let me post links however my character is runecore on stormrage US. I also made this same post on the wow general forums with the links inserted.

Usually it's because some abilities are not registered by somebody too far away from you, hence why your own logs are the only real ones.
