What would you expect the AVERAGE wow player clear in a raid for a season?

As the title says,
I am queuing dungeons as a healer to get faster queues to get more bosses down per time played.
I am a bit paranoid about the loot system as I chose a DPS specialization since that it my raiding spec.
Is anyone else doing the same while farming for his gear? Any risks in that?
I would lose my sanity if my healer offspec will get a legendary drop before my main spec does.

Shouldn't be a danger, it should run on loot specc.

I confirm, it run on loot spec.
i am an outlaw rogue, i changed my loot spec to subtlety on one EN boss to get a relic.
I got a subtlety legendary on it.
It was the first time i changed my loot spec
