Legion Kara. Nightbane loot?

So rumor is that Nightbane is going to be a somewhat special boss in the new Kara. Tried looking up information on it but can't find anything.

Mainly wondering as for what loot he/she/it will drop? Does anyone know or is it still all shrouded in mystery?

Nightbane?
Although Nightbane is not listed in the dungeon journal, there are several reasons to believe that he will be the ninth, secret, boss of the Return to Karazhan dungeon:

Official information about the Return of Karazhan originally referenced nine bosses
The original Karazhan raid also featured Nightbane as a summonable boss encounter
A new Nightbane model has been datamined
The Smoldering Ember Wyrm originally claimed to drop from Nightbane, and its flavor text references Arcanagos, Nightbane's original identity
The original maps for the new dungeon featured a boss marker on the Master's Terrace, where the original Nightbane was also summoned

In the time since Return to Karazhan was originally datamined, many of these references have been removed, including the marker on the dungeon map. The items still persist in the data files, however, which may mean that Blizzard is attempting to keep the Nightbane secret a little more hidden.

So far, no player has located Nightbane within the Return to Karazhan dungeon during PTR testing, and nothing is known about the encounter or how to summon him. However, we have some clues.


This could be related to summoning Nightbane
When the party defeats a boss in the Lower Karazhan tower area of the dungeon, a Soul Fragment will spawn near the boss's corpse. Players can click on the Soul Fragment to begin a channel, but during testing, nothing would happen. It is possible that these crystals are linked to summoning Nightbane:

There are five bosses in the Lower Karazhan tower, and each one forms a Soul Fragment upon death
There are five players in a dungeon party!
Perhaps each Soul Fragment must be channeled simultaneously as part of the Nightbane summoning process?

In addition, a quest has been discovered, as part of the Illidan Stormrage questline, that may also be related to Nightbane.

The quest Soul Prism of the Illidari requires players to collect 80 Lingering Soul Fragment items from Legion dungeons
This will take a minimum of 8 weeks, since there is a weekly cap of 10 Lingering Soul Fragment items
The name of this item hints at the Soul Fragments found near the Return to Karazhan bosses in the Lower Karazhan tower
An 8-week gate on Nightbane seems reasonable considering it drops iLvl 875 gear

As for Loot, he drops a single Trinket, all the various types of relics and chests. All item are itemlevel 875.
