Wannabe pvp

Hi

As I've kind of never played pvp before, and I want to start spending some time getting good at it I've got few noob-alike questions to skilled people that know things about pvp I will list them one by one if it's cool.

1. Are mages actually good at pvp? In WOD I played affli lock and I got to some noob rating (around 1850) only because affli had DOTs that did hit like a truck. I could do so much spread Aoe damage and only if I wanted I could also push so much single target damage. I don't feel like I'm doing any relevant damage with Fire outside Combustion... How good is fire for pvp?

2. Is Frost better than Fire?

3. Let's assume I wanna go Frost. What setup should I go with for rated 2s?

4. Will Holy Pala + Frost (or Fire) Mage work for 2s?

5. What setup is considered good for 3s?

For PvP you go frost.

Frost starts to do some serious (burst)damage once you have honor lvl 46.

Mages are better in 3s then 2s just like WoD I think.
