Neck enchant for Frost

Haven't looked it up in a while and was wondering if Saytr is still the best enchant for neck?

600 mastery normally dumpsters Saytr.

The real question is Mark of the Claw vs Trained Soldier. (I run Soldier)

After a quick poke around the top DPS parses on Warcraftlogs I found, 80% Claw, 10% Soldier, 10% Satyr. Soooo Claw I think?

On my side, they give the average same SimDPS (with a 0.5 to 1k dps difference, not that much)
Claw is a bit above, and Satyre/soldier give me the same result. But Satyre is pure ST right ? I think Soldier is a good and stable choice, Claw can be a bit better but it's RNG (i'm a bit low in hast, that's why i choose Claw)

I run with trained because mastery sims as my highest secondary stat for both ST and cleave. However, I also take them (sims) with a grain of salt, I would imagine the difference to be marginal.

You can pretty much ignore sims on the neck enchant, go check logs and see if you can find it doing more than 1.5% damage. I never got it to do more than that. So the flat 2ish% Frost damage would just straight be better.

are u talking about mark of the master or claw?

cause claw is a proc as well and not flat 2%

I think Claw should be better cause 1000/haste crit is very powerfull with bos

i think, the best way to choose one depend on your gear. If you have an average good crit/hast but lack a bit of mastery, you should pick Soldier. But if you lack of crit/haste, Claw should be better.
Hoo, and if you don't like RNG then go Soldier xD of course.

satyr doesnt scale with aoe. most fights on nighthold are aoe. claw or soldier.

but with Claws uptime and 55-70 second BoS streaks when is claw ever "not up" with BoS

yeah, i would like to saw how much proc i got for that 80sec BoS (on Tichondrius)
Should proc at least one time, but not really usefull if it's under HrW effect.
Both Solder/Claw should give the same number, it's just preferences.
