I don't understand what you mean. The avatar of Sargeras is something that existed for a long, long time. It's just an empty shell that Sargeras put his soul into to attack Azeroth once.

Nope. Illidan was used to be a vessel for sargeras, which ultimately failed....
Now, he's 100% on our side....woohoo...I guess?
