Challenge appearances on PTR experience?

Were the challenge appearances available on the PTR? How were they? Search only tells we need the mage building and need 5K shards from 2nd attempt onwards but haven't seen anymore details on it.

Curious to see how they are structured.

I almost made this post earlier, then decided to read back through a few pages of older posts and got side-tracked so thanks OP for asking this. Sounds like these will remain a mystery until after someone videos it on Tuesday.

Will the mage building be constructed within a day / few hrs? Also is broken Shore a no-PvP zone or it is considred open world content? If PvP is allowed I can imagine the layers of skeletons near the building on day 1.
