    This is my favorite EXPENTION leak ever, first saw on the forums many years ago:

    Hey guys, me and my friend have an idea for the next expention of wow.
    The main idea is two new planets that in discovered in space.
    There will be two launchers, one in orgimmar and secand in Gnomeregan.
    You can use the launchers only by completing few quests in azeroth, after you use the launchers you will get to the first planet, that will give you new quests that will take you to the secend planet.

    has the huge monster are made frome stone and rocks are leader of the two palants (name:rskol) and workable a new race until their escape to azorth and ask help... part of the people from new race are save by alliance and other part save by horde and the huge leader are Threatening on azorth.

    After getting to the secend planet you will have a special quest for levels 85 and above that gives you special shoes that lets you fly in both planets.

    We also thought about the name of the expention, we thogut about "Galaxy".
    The capital city for the horde and the alliance will be like dalaran or shattrath, one city for both horde and alliance.

    This is my take on what a good next expansion could be. Clearly fake as sh*t, but I enjoy the fantasy.
    World of Warcraft : Supremacy of the Kirin Tor

    Key features :
    - Whole new leveling progression system!
    - 4 new leveling zones
    - 2 new high level questing zones
    - Kalimdor and Eastern Kingdoms Revamp

    After the ultimate defeat of the Legion invasion on Azeroth and in their hold on Argus, the remaining armies are left with very few leaders and no cohesion.
    Sargeras is fatally trapped and our world is out of his and his armies reach.
    A new era is starting for Azeroth, every being on the planet invested a lot against the foes that merely took over.
    Every kingdom, every realm has lost a lot and is struggling to feed and protect their citizens.
    That is why Khadgar has decided to take the lead of the Kirin Tor to annihilate any remaining trace of the legion and protect all people of Azeroth against the looming menace of the Old Gods.
    But an opposition to his forces is forming and led by Jaina Proudmoore.

    The 4 new zones are The Wetlands, Arathi, Stonetalon Mountains, and Desolace.
    The 2 new high level questing zones are Dustwallow Marsh and Tanaris.
    Moreover, factions and races have not all contributed to this world war and are taking advantage of this situation to put pressure and weaken the Horde and Alliance.
    A real focus is being make on factions and races by adding specific narrative quest chains for each one.
    Pvp can now unlock scenarios to learn more about the whys and wherefores of the never ending fights between the Alliance and the Horde.

    New currency :
    War supplies would be an equivalent to Order Hall resources as it is the new main currency for the expansion but works more like artefact power.
    You gain it through killing your enemies, foes and opponents, and you gain more by accomplishing world quest, dungeons, raids, arenas, battlegrounds, and scenarios.
    It can be spent for your faction race, your class or reputations. Each have specific system that enables you to perfect your character.
    This is a character specific feature but a catch up mechanic is set. The war supplies for the each level of progression gets lower each week.
    Race --> Gives you special bonus stat when outside instances and to crafting
    Class --> Acquiring special followers, gives you special bonuses to crafting
    Reputation --> Gives special recipes for FUN oriented consumables and alt friendly bonuses
    Horde/Alliance --> Dumping mechanism to get more power for your character (equivalent value to what any point spent in any other progression gives you)
    When you reach a new level in those trees you gain access to scenarios specific to your race, class and reputations you have worked for.
    When playing a drainei you can invite in your party Night elves, human and gnomes to help you achieve the drainei scenario.
    And dumping into the Horde/Alliance enables you to experience other classes and races scenarios, but you will need to party with eligible characters to do so.

    Guild Hub and quests :
    Guild focus is not easy, but we want to explore new ways to enable you create something unique for your guild.
    The main goals were the following :
    * Any new guild must be able to get all bonuses and enhancements in two weeks
    * Bonuses should be something that you play with and not something you set once and it's over
    * You should be working on gaining improvements for your guild specifically
    * every voice matters in a guild
    So we forged a new feature using the world quest system.
    Every week you can go to a specific guild NPC in any capital that will offer you three options to develop your guild presence.
    They work the same way as the Mythic + dungeons affixes do. They will harden the world quest in the open world.
    When inside a party, the leader must choose which one of the affixes used by the members will be effective, by default it will be the leader's.
    Completing hardened world quest awards points to your guild. The same NPC that offers you the affix choice, let's you vote for the investment.
    Examples of investments :
    * Attacks on the capitals (send every hour a wave of assassins to every capital of the opposite faction)
    * Bodyguards for each member when doing outdoor content
    * Decorations for the guild hub
    * Recruitment Herald (sends a specific short message in capitals, only visible to people without a guild, randomly 6 times a day)

    New leveling mechanism :
    - Max level is now level 1! Oh actually, there is no longer a notion of levels!
    You now make progression on your character by doing content and acquiring gear.
    You will instead have in your adventurer guide a new progress bar. This now fills up when doing battleground, arenas, dungeons and completing quest chains.
    We are keeping raids and rated pvp out of the progression as they are defined as max level content.
    Filling up this bar allows you to gain access to higher ilvl gear and new zones!
    This change is fairly transparent as to what you do when content is released.
    And it is really advantageous when creating a new character as it allows you to reach max level content faster and with more freedom.
    The zones of Kalimdor and Eastern Kingdoms are divided into three sets. When unlocking the third you also unlock every previous expansion zones.
    This way you can have more diversity on the path you want to take and if you're a new player you can just follow the new story line that is being set with the remodelling of the old world.
    - The old world as we know it will still be accessible once you unlock every zones and you can switch back to it by talking to a bronze dragon flight NPC.
    - It is important to keep in mind that we will be using the same dynamic leveling technology as the one used in Legion to allow you to feel an organic progression inside and between sets of zones.
    - Once you unlock a new set of zone, the power and strength of the foes inside the previous set will be frozen as well as the rewards you can obtain there.

    - Remodelling of the old Azeroth will only take place in Kalimdor and Eastern Kingdoms. Not every zone will be remodelled at launch.
    Some will be locked behind conflicts that are out of the Horde or Alliance reach. Does every party has to get involved in conflicts?
    This is one of the many core topic that needs to be talked about in game this expansion.
    The zones that are locked will eventually become accessible as the story goes.

    Pvp treat :
    - Pvp has been kept away from lore despite many attempts to combine the two. Now doing pvp, you will have opportunities to develop the story.
    You will get different point of view to learn more about the whys and wherefores of the never ending fights between the Alliance and the Horde.

    Collectibles / Mounts :
    - New mount system lets you custom your mount by adding gear and decorations to it.
    Old mounts are now displayed by type, and different hues and colour sets can be switched.
    Unlocking old mounts also unlocks rare types, decorations and equipment for your mount.
    You can also get special buffs depending on the combination you build :
    * Run/Fly faster when in capital city
    * Can also swim 20% faster
    * When entering combat while mounted, gets a 20% boost for 3sec
    * When you fall of your mount, reduce the mount casting time by 2sec for 10sec
    * Slow targets that hit you while mounted
    - There are also many new character animations while mounted!
    - Pets are getting a new option that allows you to have one of your favourite pet appear randomly for a short duration. (only outside instances)

    Professions :
    - Diverse mini-games have been developed to make it a fun challenge to get higher level in secondary professions.
    For example: Cooking will now ask you to respect timers when preparing hot meals and to slice and dice properly when preparing raw meals.
    - Revamped UIs for trading, achievements and new options to move every element of your interface (Unit frames, Tooltips, spellbar) are now available.

    World of Warcraft: Screams of the Abyss/Reign of the Queen - or some cool name
    Focus will be on the following main characters: Jaina, Sylvanas, and Azshara. In the final battle against Azshara, both Jaina and Sylvanas will be there to battle it out with the help of the players.
    Characters with semi-important roles will be: Genn, Trade Prince Gallywix, Lor'themar(will play a major role in the coming expansion). Genn is still after Sylvanas, and Lor'themar and the Sunreavers wants to stop Jaina.
    Important characters that are not part of the Alliance or Horde: N'Zoth, Rastakhan, Chromie(just like Lor'themar, Chromie will be more important in the expansion after this).

    Zones: Kul Tiras, Zandalar, Tel'Abim, Kezan, Plunder Isle, Nazjatar(opens up in the first or second major patch), Gishan Caverns - elaborate system of underground caves(kind of like Deepholm) that are all connected and that you can enter through several places in all the other zones. The underground caves will be the max level zone with an extensive story just like Suramar.
    Main capitals: Gilneas for Alliance, Stormhaven(harpy capital) for Horde
    Enemy mobs will mostly be: naga, N'Zoth's army(will also have malformed mobs from other creatures in this list), trolls, ethereals, humans, goblins+hobgoblins, harpies, makrura, different kinds of murlocs, gilgoblins, pirates, abberations, spirits/undead of drowned humanoid races.
    Level cap: 120. Zones scale to your level. Old world zones will NOT scale.

    Dungeons:
    Tel'Abim - takes place on the Tel'Abim island; an island full of odd looking jungle and living fruit such as bananas and coconuts and of course wild beasts. The island is very rich on food and other resources that the Alliance and the Horde need in their campaign against Azshara and N'Zoth. Hunters will be able to get rare quests from other means than this dungeon, which sends them to a solo version of the instance where they can tame challenging rare beasts(like spirit beasts).
    Mak'aru - makrura, murlocs, gilgoblins - keywords: coral terraces, seaweed, shells/bubbles, eggs - possible boss(es): Clawlord Kril'mandar, Lobster Ancient(or spirit of)
    Bloodsail Hold - pirates, parrots and all that - we get help from the Blackwater Raiders - keywords: treasures, rum, torn flags and banners, ships, docks - possible boss(es): Skycap'n Kragg and his giant parrot
    Undermine(dungeon) - here the players will just scratch on the surface on what is actually going on in the Undermine, and the whole story will then unfold in the raid. Goblins, hobgoblins, trolls, ogres, harpies.
    Defense of Kul Tiras - a dungeon in the same style as the ones we've gotten in Caverns of Time, but it won't be part of CoT and there's no story connected to how we end up in this dungeon as it should be seen as it never happend to our characters. This dungeon is unlocked once you reach max level. Both Alliance and Horde players will be transformed into looking like Kul Tiras humans and will defend the nation against harpies, trolls and naga.
    Cavern of Despair - will have similar setting to that of the Gishan Caverns zone, but a lot darker. This dungeon will be infested by N'Zoth forces and aberrations. Keywords: dark and depressing but still phosphorus and glowy. Gloomy.
    Abyssal Maw - pre-dungeon to Nazjatar - opens up in the first or second major patch. Keywords: thermal activity with vents and fissures, boiling water
    Raids:
    Temple City Zuldazar - first raid of the expansion! The trolls of Zandalar are attempting to summon Hakkar the Soulflayer. Yes, Molthor and the Zandalari trolls never destroyed the heart of Hakkar!
    Undermine(raid) - The Alliance, but also the Horde, wants to deal with the corrupt Trade Princes of Undermine as they let nothing come in their way of profit. Key words: corruption, slaves, inventions, bombs, volcanic lava. Various ethereals also see the Undermine as a great opportunity for trading/profit. This will be a small raid jus like Trial of Valor in Legion.
    N'Zoth raid - N'Zoth's forces are all over in the tunnels and caverns below the new zones. We need to secure these caverns that reach right below us before we can take on Azshara and later on Ny'alotha.
    Nazjatar - Nazjatar will be the Broken Shore version of the expansion, but it will be more like Timeless Isle than BS. It will function as both a daily quest area and a raid. The Drowned Reaches will function as a subzone of the zone, but will not be part of the raid. Here we will find the spirits and undead versions of drowned victims aswell as more N'Zoth forces. The raid will of course be full of naga. The final boss is Azshara.
    Ny'alotha - the final raid of the expansion. We deal with the worst monstrosities in the black forest. Final boss is, again, Azshara - but she will look different now.

    Features:
    Three new races will join the Alliance and the Horde and they all start at level 1.
    Furbolg join the Alliance - Druid, Hunter, Mage, Monk, Priest, Shaman, Warrior
    Harpies join the Horde - Druid, Hunter, Mage, Priest, Rogue, Warlock, Warrior
    Ethereals join both the Alliance and the Horde - Demon Hunter, Hunter, Mage, Priest, Rogue, Warlock, Warrior

    The ethereals will be two different tribes that have been in war for a long time. Their starting zone will let you experience some of this war and the reason behind it.
    The two tribes are reaching out to the Alliance and the Horde to get help fighting the void which is trying to corrupt all ethereals.
    Racial leader(A): Nexus-Princess Azeezah
    Racial leader(H): Nexus-Prince Kashif
    Racial mount: energy-camel(look at the card art for "Nexus-Champion Saraad" in Hearthstone)
    Customizations: colour of the 'energy', colour and pattern of their cloth, colour of their eyes.
    Racials: Master Trader(Rep gains increased by 10%), Otherworldly Intellect(Maximum class resource increased by 5%), Elusive(Dodge chance increased by 2%), Arcane Resistance(Reduces arcane damage taken by 3%).

    The Furbolg starting area will take place in their capital Timbermaw Hold, which is a giant tunnel/underground zone in the mountains between Felwood/Moonglade/Winterspring/Azshara. Throughout the questing the capital will change from your actions, and you can not leave until you've completed the entire story there. You will be able to return there and other races will be able to go there just like any other capital. It'll have bank, AH and all that stuff.
    Main customization: fangs, fur(colour, fluffy or sleek, etc)
    Yes, there are both male and female furbolg, but you see no difference between them.
    Racial leader: Chieftain Ruba
    Racials: Furbolg Fury(Increases melee attack power and spell power by x for 10 sec), Bear Ferociousness(Increases critical strike chance by 2% and increases stamina by x per level), Power of the Forest(Silences all enemies within 10 yards for 2 sec and interrupts non-player spellcasting for 5 sec)

    The harpy starting area is a rather small island near Kul Tiras named "Stormhaven". The humans of Kul Tiras and the harpies have been in war for a long time, and when the harpies see the Alliance aid Kul Tiras, they realize they need to find an ally to not lose the battle; so they turn to the Horde.
    The starting area will simply take place on the island as you defend it from Kul Tiras invasions, and the starting experience ends in you being sent away to the Horde leaders to ask for their aid.
    Just as the furbolg starting area/capital, Stormhaven will function just as any other Horde capital city. It will look similar to Darnassus - lots of trees but still a very open capital, with lots of harpy nests, dreamcatchers and other jewelry decorations everywhere - but the setting will unlike Darnassus be very bright and beachy with sunsets in the distance in the evening.
    Harpies can activate flight form regardless of class - but can ride normal mounts aswell.
    Main customization: wings and the claws. Harpies will not have visible boots just like trolls. Yes, there will be no male harpies and a harpy can give birth to offspring on her own
    Tribe name: Seascreech tribe. Leader: Queen Marelda Seascreech
    Racials: Wings(Increases movement speed by 4%), Crystals!(Jewelcrafting skill increased by 10), Avian Fury(Increases melee, ranged and spell haste by 15% for 10 sec), Wing Swoop(Perform a powerful twirl to stun enemies withing 8 yards for 2 sec).

    Goblins and Worgens get updated models.
    All races will have better customization options. If you choose x face, you're no longer stuck with x feature that goes with it. For example if you play a night elf you can choose purple hair and green markings. If you're a troll you can have green hair and an orange beard.

    Character progression and legendaries:
    We will have a similar character progression to that of artifact weapons in the form of damage/healing and utility perks, but it won't be tied to our weapons. Instead it'll be tied to legendaries. At certain thresholds we will unlock a solo quest/adventure so that we can equipp a legendary. This quest will be the same for everyone and regardless of which legendary we choose. Yes, we will be able to choose which legendary we want. The first quest unlocks once we meet max level, the second in the first major patch and the third in the last major patch of the expansion.
    In short: reach max level -> complete solo adventure so you can equipp a legendary -> go to vendor that sells legendaries. You can buy as many as you want, but you can only equipp one.

    Some other info:
    Madam Goya will set up her black market in the Undermine.
    All races will be able to buy ethereal teleportation pads(toys) that they use instead of a Hearthstone.
    New battle pet dungeons that will open throughout the expansion in minor and major patches: Maraudon, Dire Maul and Stratholme

    A bit on professions:
    There will be a new unique mount that uses crafted materials from all primary professions and that also all crafting professions will be able to craft and sell.
    Gem slots will be on all weapon, neck, ring and belt slots. 3 on weapons, 1 on the others. Also 2 on every legendary, regardless of slot.
    Up to 5 players can skin the same mob, as long as they have all dealt damage to the mob. You can skin even if other players don't loot the corpse.
    Crafting sets with set bonuses will be a thing again(like in TBC). Leatherworking will not craft the mail set though - engineering will.
    There will be profession quests/story just like in Legion. Patterns and recipes will drop from various mobs in the outside world(BoP, 5-15% drop), dungeon and raid bosses(100% drop) and some from old world dungeons and rare objects around the new expansion zones. Recipe ranks are gone.

    Also healing spec for mages, usign timealtering magic to quicken natural mening to extreme lengths.


    Id really like them to incoprorate crafting into endgame gearing. With materials dropping from all kinds of content. A little bit like path of exile. hell, we could even craft our mythic keystones tbh.
