Wth just happened with Tukui and Elvui?

I opened up Tukui client and it says theres an update. So i update it and now it doesnt detect i have Elvui install. When i boot up WoW i get a crap ton of Lua errors and have to force close it. Not even loading elvui in game

Well, by the looks of it, you should avoid this addon if it got so many errors. I bet there are other equally good substitutes around.

Well this is the usual reason people stopped using bundled Add-Ons or UI compilations long ago..

Their site was hacked and they had to rebuild the site from scratch. This happened 2 or 3 weeks ago.

Download ElvUI or TukUI manually at https://www.tukui.org

They completely redisigned the site, updated the client, etc because they got hacked.
The Tukui/elvui team is rebuilding the site and the addon database from scratch.
I'd suggest uninstalling the previous client, do a clean / fresh install from the new version and downloading ElvUI 10.59 (I think that's the latest version)
Then re-download the elvui addons you have installed and that should do the trick

I had no errors by doing that.

Does doing this reset the ui? Because I'm a big creature of habit, and it's gonna really mess me up if I have to try and redo my ui, cause I'm not gonna get it exactly how it was. If things arnt how I'm used to, then it causes me issues in playing.

ElvUI is one of the most popular addons in WoW and honestly, gets updated before other addons when a new patch releases all the time. Only reason I stopped using it is because they had to take it down for so long, but they couldn't truly plan for that, who would hack elv lol.

Just don't touch your WTF folder, all the settings are stored there.
