How to track events in-game?

So, my scenario: Next WOTLK time walk I will get the last mount I need. How to know/remember when next one happens etc

Maybe there is a addon for it? Wowhead and blizzards own site sucks for it. In-game calendar is OK, but if I was now away from PC etc.

The calendar attached to your minimap... scroll through the months and set a reminder in your email.

WoWhead and MMOC both have a weekly reminder whats up this week every tuesday. If that is "bad" for you there is nothing that can help you....

"Underachiever" is an achievement tracking mod that has a feature that will show a toast screen reminding you of which holiday or world events are active.

"All the Things" is a transmog/pet/mount/title collection mod will show you a list of all the items you do not have for said dungeons, raids, holidays, or world events.
