<Remnant> was established back in 2007. Took a hiatus after ICC25 after the remaining members went to different guilds respectively. Now we are back and recruiting for our core 25 man. You, as an applicant can be part of a great renewal, everyone starts at equal grounds and bias on loot is non existent. We plan to be competitive this coming Dragon Soul raid in 25 mans.
Application Process:
- 30 days maximum. If you are performing very well, it could be shortened. It really depends on your performance and getting along with the guild.
- Parses will be studied at a raid nightly basis. Underperformance is subject to review. You are always welcome to ask an officer about our comments about you. After 30 days, and no improvement is seen, you are removed from the guild.
- Loot-wise, it it loot council. You as a recruit will not have priority over Raiding Members unless it is an off-spec item or no member needs it.
- Missing a raid without a post on the forums is subject to review. RL happens, so let us know if you can.
Recruitment Requirement:
- An extensive knowledge of your class and your fellow raiders. Know your role, your specialties and know your fellow raider classes too. Synergy is the key to success.
- Attendance thats strives to be 100%. Real life will always be priority if something comes up.
- Ventrilo. Have a mic, preferably a headset. Have a keybind that doesn't make clicking sounds when you use a keybound ability. Know how to communicate in a timely manner. Unneccesary chatter during encounters is annoyance.
- Maximizing your gear to gain its full potential, if you gem stamina and you're a dps, please don't bother applying. Professions that boost DPS is also a plus. Mining is bad. Skinning gets you crit rating but is also bad. JC is good, BS is good, etc etc.
- A friendly attitude to fellow players, I know people will have tendencies of disliking each other, but if the majority of the guild dislikes you in some way. You are out. Getting along is a key to getting past recruit stage.
- A thick-skin. Mistakes will be criticized, making the same mistake will get you sat out for the encounter or raid. You will receive criticism for your performance.
Limit your special letter characters please, you know the alt+random numpad letters. it doesnt make you special. It's okay on an alt, but if your name has more than 1 special character. Please don't bother applying.
