Frost mage or Disc Priets?

Haven't pvp'd in a really long time and I'm finally rolling a toon to only pvp with. My friend finally wore me down and convinced me to re-live our 2v2 glory days during BC. These are the only two classes I'm inclined to roll, maybe a warrior if it was infinitly better than either one of these.

Ret disc isn't bad.

Ret Mage works but it's easier to mess up and you're going to lose more games.

A friend and I made an arena team going for ret/fire mage, we pretty much destroyed everyone. But that's on a very low rating so..

I'd go with ret/disc. Seems like the best choice out of those combos. If the one not rolling ret could go DK, that would be a pretty nasty setup.

I always support healer dps in 2s. Im not a fan of dps comps in 2s that only involves who can mash most buttons will win.
Mage Rogue, SP Rogue and so forth is fun double dps comps in 2s, or just play with a healer and control a fight.

We've always hated healer/dps comps because you get into those matches that last 45mins. We do it more for fun instead of rating. He would usually switch to Holy once we got 2.2k+.

As ret/disc games versus holy paladins will take 45mins, if you want to play 2v2 play double dps otherwise your games will just be too long and you'll stress and there won't be any fun so yeah.
