Anyone able to find the specs on these puppies? Even though they're like 7 years old..

These are just the basic blades, and i believe they said they shouldn't be considered working. They definitely don't contain any WoW Realm data, and it's unlikely they even have drives, memory, or even a CPU. Additionally, i believe they're in presentation cases.

I see RAM, CPU's and HDD's and integrated PSU's so they are usable, however, if someone wants to use them i'd advise against it, blade server's are noisy power hungry monsters (i have 3) once turned on, they can be heard from anywhere in your house, and expect to add roughly $50 a month to your power bill per blade, not to mention that on old ones like these, the hard drives need replacing and u320 SCSI drives are very expensive

They "are" the server. Think, "insticksmoduler" in a big servercomplex.
I'm guessing four-six servers per realm (eastern, western, dungeons, BGs, chat), more if tBC is included.

On a more serious note, these can be cool novelty items to have. And the money seem to go to a good cause as well. Although I personally fail to "see" the point.

My old server has hit the $200 mark.

I wish I knew which blade serviced Kalimdor though, cause that poor thing crashed 10 times in the span of 15 minutes when the AQ gates opened.

I want my server so badly but the 100$ shipping cost is way too much to ship from Paris to Belgium.. =(

The shipping cost is 3x what my old server's blades are going for. Not a chance in hell am I paying £190 for shipping and transport when only giving 65 to the charity. I'd rather write them a £100 cheque and be done.
