This entirely depends on timing of course. For example, a death knight would probably use Remorseless Winter or a stun immediately after Death Gripping a mage that blinked, trying to force said mage to pull out Iceblock.

"Running away" in and of itself doesn't work when it's a stacking snare. Even if you can suppress the snare, you don't move faster than him/her. If it worked like bladestorm, and was cancelled on Silence (not Interrupt, just Silence) perhaps I'd feel a lot differently. Any smart person will use their already CC'd partner to try and get a CC off during this 1min cooldown... Right.

But just saying "run away" doesn't work. I've pointed that out in my last post, that because of a stacking snare you'll never outpace the Death Knight. Are you casting it as you close to someone? Because I know a 5 year old that can figure out "don't push that button" until she's next to the "bad guys".
