Not gonna lie, this picture looks like a building plan for a home lol
is JK/SW rotation that complicated?

One, its still breaking NDA if you talk about it in PMs.
Two, that really means nothing to people who haven't played yet. And even people who have already played but aren't that familiar with the game yet.
I appreciate the effort and insight anyways though, ty.
WoW having more subs than SWTOR is the same thing as Justin Bieber having more youtube plays than Tupac. Just because its more popular doesn't mean its good.
Mitt Romney: Proof that Americans really are as stupid as the rest of the world thinks we are.
Not to be insulting Traces, but I really think you're adding a lot of lines for no reason, making it look wayyyyy more complicated than it actually is. I mean, you rewrote the whole AS/SA thing four times, and your legend is incomplete. What is T? What is DS?
Surely there is a simpler way to explain this. Let me give it a shot, I'm sure you can correct my mistakes.
Blade Storm > Force Sweep > Sundering Assault > Assault
That's basically it, isn't it? You use Blade Storm if you have the focus and if it's off CD, it's top priority. If Blade Storm is on CD and you have 3 Focus, you use Force Sweep. If Blade Storm is on CD and you don't have 3 Focus, you use Sundering Assault. If Blade Storm is still on CD and also Sundering Assault is on CD, then you use Assault.
I read into it a bit more, I'm still trying to understand the rest of this. I'm going to assume that "T" is a typo and it's supposed to be "ST", which would make sense for an opener.
Now, you use Guardian Slash if you have 4 focus but your Blade Storm is on CD, okay. I'm still not sure what "DS Debuff" is, it's not explained. I'm guessing that either BS or FS gives DS, but yeah, your chart doesn't make this clear.
Edit: Yeah, it really isn't a complicated rotation/priority order when you actually try to understand it. Not much more than a Rogue or Cata Feral, at least.

It is just meant to give everyone a visual representation of how to manage Focus and abilities to use.
The T was Taunt and DS was demoralizing shout - since we didnt have a name - only a debuff similar to that mechanic confirmed.
You would need to say:
Priority consuming abilities: Blade Storm > Force Sweep > Guardian Slash > High single target dmg ability
Priority rage/focus generating abilities: Soresu Form > Combat Focus > Sundering Assault > Assault > Force Leap/Saber Throw
Try having a look at the newly uploaded sprad sheet/flow chart and see if you like it better
New chart seems to flow much better than the previous one did, thanks for all the work you guys are putting in
Thanks for taking the time to do this, planning on rolling a Juggernaut so it was nice to see a quick chart of the overall priority. I'm not really sure why people equate understanding/discussing a tanking rotation as being a way to skip all the content in a rush to get to the end of the leveling process. I'm pretty sure you can still make important role playing decisions involving quests, companions, and character development at whatever pace you deem fit while also having an understanding of what holds threat as best as possible. If you don't care to know, don't click on threads clearly titled "______ rotation".
Also, having a understanding of such things while doing flashpoints along the way can only better you're experience. You can instantly make a positive name for yourself on your server as you level as being one of the tanks who understands his class. A major part of being a tank is having knowledge of the boss mechanics and knowing your class well enough to manipulate those mechanics with quick response times, why someone would want to ignore half of that until they figure it out themselves '2 months later' is beyond me.
If all that info's correct I'm gonna have a fun time on my Sith warrior~

Yeah the chart looks a lot easier to understand now The * part made me laugh, "Use high damage single target ability*, can't say this without breaking NDA". (I wonder if that ability is "Riposte" since Traces said that in a previous post :O)
But yeah, great flowchart.

No it's not Riposte xD - though it would have been fun!
Riposte is a Rune strike mechanism.

The current flow chart isn't 100% satisfying ( We need to implement time left on cd's and how much focus/rage you got - for the flow chart to hit maximum potential) - but there is an advanced version coming. We primarily made this new one to give a neat first impression that was somewhat easy to understand (is it ? ) - then it is easier moving on to the flow chart with timers/cd's.
The high damage one will be like Mangle for Druids or that and Riposte would be like Maul.
Any other requests, we can look into it (picking something like Smuggler Saboteur would be impossible due to the footage, so pick something that is commonly available).
I have a question for ya Traces. These charts are based soley on abilities with no reflection on talent trees and the additional abilities you aquire, as well as the ability and stat modifications talents will give, correct?
Tank Trooper or DPS Trooper? Would love DPS Trooper (Commando)
All the infomation gathered is taken from videos and posts released by BW and press releases.
I will create a proper source list for forum users to explore by themselves and to negate any uncertainty there might be regarding a possible NDA breach.
The main focus of the flow chart of the Jedi Guardian - is Focus/rage control - the actuall abilities and their stat modifications is very likely to change.
However the cost of the abilties and the way rage/focus flows has been the same since I started looking into JK:G.
So as I've said before; the priority will most likely change - but when it does and we got solid info, we will already have a excisting flow chart that will be easy to configure without causing ourselfs any headaches.
That way I can start doing some of the more heavy duty work, such as combat rating values and damage reduction - which is what im looking most forward to.
Some of you might think that I'm outright contradicting myself, since Traces and I defended our cause so heavily in the beginning of the thread. But we know that things might change - We just wanted to start a sober discussion about upcoming mechanics for the JK:G - and hopefully others classes aswell.
Traces is going to play a Tropper: Vangaurd tank as main when the game releases - So I would definetly take a closer look at his tropper chart (Since all my knowledge at the moment is about JC and JK).
Ps. Trollbane: Any particualr reason why I can't use signatures ?
Thats perfectly understandable, personally I cross check too many times because the point of having a thread that you get banned is burr
OT: allright Thank you - I forgot the pass to my old account and don't use the e-mail anymore - so someone please reply so I can hit 10
