Vanguard is recruiting more ranged dps to get its 25man team up and running.


About us;

We are a newly formed raiding guild on the Draenor server. The core of our guild transferred from the Sha'tar server to start and rebuild a new 25 man raiding guild here.
We only raid 9 hours a week, but even with those limited hours we still aim for a top rank on both the Draenor server as on the world ranking. This will be a hard goal to achieve, but nonetheless that is our aim.

Currently we are running 2x 10 man raiding group, but we are getting really close to getting a 25man group up and running.


What do we need;

Tanks
Full on tin cans.

Melee dps
Closed.

Range dps
All range classes are welcome at this moment.

Healers
Sorry medics, but our healing team is a bit full for now, you have to be exceptional to have a chance on a raid spot.


Raid times

We raid 3 evenings a week; Tuesday, Thursday and Sunday from 20:30 to 23:30. Invites are at 20:15.


Loot

We see loot as our primary tool to kill bosses at heroic mode. Therefore we believe its in the guilds best interest to give the loot to the person that needs it the most, after all, the raid is as strong as its weakest member. To achieve this we use a lootcouncil to distribute the loot.


What do we want from you;
  • You have to be older then 18. We don't want to discriminate on age, and we do recognise that people under 18 can be very good raiders, but our experience tells us that people under 18 just don't fit well in a guild that has the bulk of its members on a 20+ age.
  • A solid internet connection. We had recruits before that claimed a rock steady connection, but as soon as they where invited into the guild, they had some mysterious DC's that "never happened before!". So don't waste our and your own time, don't apply when your connection isn't good.
  • Be able to take part in at least 2 of our 3 raids a week. We understand that real life is more important then playing a game, and we don't kick people that cant raid for a while for a good reason, but with a tight roster we all depend on each other to make the raid happen.
  • Be able to take constructive criticism. Don't go on a rage when some one tells you that you did something wrong.
  • Be able to speak up when you made a mistake and wiped the raid. We all make mistakes, but we can only learn from each others mistakes when you talk about it.
  • Take raiding serious. We only raid 9 hours a week, so we need to use that time efficiently, and cant waste much time on explaining tactics. If you don't want to spend a little bit of your time to do some reading up on your class and raidbosses, can't adapt easily to new strats and don't understand the basic boss mechanics, then you are not the kind of person that we are looking for.
  • Know how fire looks like, and be able to run from it! Its hot you know!


What can we provide you;

  • A mature guild with a serious raiding atmosphere.
  • RBG's and alt/old content raids during offdays. (We need our guild to grow a bit more for this to happen)
