    Laptop - Multy task able?

    So a friend of mine is looking for a laptop.

    He needs multy tasking.

    Not for gaming...but i dont want him using a intel HD 3000 card.

    This is what i had in mind but ive got no clue about laptops.

    id rather he got something decent. those cards from what ive seen are just terrible.

    Yes they are.
    They're terrible for gaming.

    If he's not going to do that he probably won't notice.

    Why would you bother with a video card if he doesn't intend to game on it? The money spent on the upgraded video card could be put to better use.

    A discrete video card can use a lot of power. Your friend probably cares a lot more about battery life than he does about playing video games, from what you've told us.

    i appreciate what you all have to say on the video card aspect.

    found more info out and it also needs an hdmi port.

    he said himself that an onboard video card will not suffice.

    looking to find out more so on what processors are better than others i guess..
