Need help with my specs, please!

So here's the deal. I have (as far as I know) not a BAD set-up for an entry level gaming computer, although it's nothing special. My friend recently bought a computer for around the same price (with the same graphics card). The problem is this; HIS computer seems to run anything he likes... GTA:IV, Call of Duty, Battlefield, whatever. Whereas mine runs WoW on ultra setting (No water or shadow detail) but won't run anything else too well. It even struggles with TF2 :/ Any help would be appreciated as to why it won't run or anything I could do to solve the problem quickly, thanks! - Processor : AMD Athlon(tm) II X2 250 Processor - Installed RAM: 4GB - Windows 7 64-bit - Graphics: nVidea GeForce GT430.

Week cpu and weak gpu... that would do it.
What specs is your friend's computer? They're probably better than yours.
