Don't know if this has been posted yet but I found this in my related videos on Youtube. Just wanted to share it with you since I didn't find a similar thread on the first few pages.
It's a footage of "old" BG's, it was in game files since forever. I guess blizz is picking up some of the old ideas, but you can at very least expect them to look way better on release.
I think it's safe to say as these have actually been in the game files since Vanilla, they would be reworked essentially from the ground up with all of the new worldbuilding tools that the devs have so they don't look like crap, eh?
The BG with "2 giant stone Dragons" have been implemented in the game atleast at start of wotlk.
It may have been there in tbc already. (or vanilla can't remember)
I recall it was meant to be a battleground, but it was never used. (or something similiar)
