Siberia V2, question.

(Not sure if this is the right forum).
Looking to buy a Steelseries Siberia V2 in the near future, just a quick question though: there seems to be both a ''normal'' version as well as an ''USB'' version, USB versions costs 15-25% more it seems. What's the difference between these two versions? I went to a site which had a description for both of them, and they only advertised with the 7.1 thing on the USB one; nothing mentioned ab out it on the ordinary version. So, what's the difference? Thx

the USB comes with a USB soundcard

The Siberia v2 USB also includes a 7.1 virtual soundcard, which is an improved alternative from your normal on board soundcard.
The USB plug-in option makes this version of the headset even more convenient.
