    [Bio] Corrupter Heavy-Hoof

    Name: Corrupter Stronghoof
    Age: 54
    Race: Tauren
    Gender: Male
    Faction: N/A

Appearance: Stronghoof is a 7’4 Tauren with dark black colored fur with several white patches along his upper back and legs along with his very callous violet colored eyes. Stronghoof commonly wears the attire of the Twilight Hammer, consisting of dark purple robes along with the hood worn up. A large golden ring hangs from his nose along with two golden chains that hang from his ears and connect to the golden ring. Commonly seen across his shoulder lies a large 6ft totem mace engraved with the symbols of his ancestors.

Personality: War-driven and callous, Stronghoof is a testament to something most Tauren are not. Having disregarded his once preserved and calm life style to follow a more blood driven one, Stronghoof has found himself in the hands of the Twilight Hammer where he has joined their ranks as an incredibly powerful Warrior. Stronghoof is intrigued by the will of mankind, constantly evaluating how his opponents move and act even in the heat of combat. Stronghoof may appear to be a simple minded brute that swings around his weapons without thought, but he is much more complicated and carries a sense of standing above most others.

Language: Stronghoof generally speaks in his native language, Taur-ahe, although he has recently learned to speak Common to be on terms with his fellow cultists.

Class: Stronghoof is a Warrior by nature who once had strong ties with the elements. His father foresaw a great future in the ways of the Shaman for Stronghoof but the call for chaos and drawing blood took control of the Shaman-in-Training.

Likes/Dislikes: Stronghoof is a fan of war, having abandoned all of his morals for a life of constant fighting. His desire to find and combat strong opponents has leaded him into the hands of the Twilight Hammer where he can fight to his heart’s content. A major disgust of Stronghoof’s is that of the common tactics of a Rogue, who hide in the shadows and trick their opponents, killing them before they even have a chance to fight back. Stronghoof commonly calls Rogues who resort to such tactics as “cowards.”

Strengths/Weaknesses: Stronghoof is a master of close-ranged combat and has easily shown to take down several Human Warriors during an assault on a Twilight Hammer encampment in the Twilight Highlands with ease. In contrast, Stronghoofis extremely susceptible to ranged attackers such as Rangers or casters. Due to his size, Stronghoof is also notably slower than most others.

    History

Son of Hurok and Dura of the Grimtotem Tribe, Stronghoof was the youngest of five children to the Shaman couple. Hurok had proved on multiple occasions to have a strong bond with the elements and foresaw the same future for Stronghoof. Naming the child after a Grimtotem Elder who had trained both Hurok and Dura in their youth, Hurok proved to show greater aspirations and bonds with young Stronghoof going as far as to disregard his other children. Dura constantly scolded Hurok for openly calling Stronghoof his favorite child. During a skirmish with raging elements that sought revenge on rogue Grimtotem Shamans, many of Stronghoof’s tribe was killed in the resulting battle which included two of his siblings and his mother. Leaving Hurok to raise Stronghoof and his eldest son Turon on his own, he couldn’t help but continue to treat Stronghoof as his most praised child.

Years would pass and Stronghoof’s Shamanistic training would have already begun where he showed great promise as a Shaman. Turon, his elder brother also proved to have Shamanistic skills although not enough to draw the attention of Hurok. After constantly hearing Hurok’s praise ofStronghoof, Turon lashed out in anger towards his father. Stronghooflooked on from a distance as Hurok called Turon a disgrace to his family, leading to his brother’s betrayal of the Grimtotem.

Stronghoof constantly trained in the ways of a Shaman; day by day he received lessons from his father who placed everything he had onto Stronghoof’s shoulders. One day, Hurok called his son into their tent and had the now teenaged Tauren sit and listen. Hurok bestowed before his son, the ancestral totem carved and handed down by ancient generations of their family named Mending Root. Stronghoof accepted his father’s gift with hesitation, not sure if this was the life he wanted to follow. This same path his father, grandfather and great grandfather have all followed and Stronghoof remained unsure if he too wanted to follow this path.

During a routine training session, Stronghoof had been left alone to commune with the elements. Breaking his meditation, Centaur quickly surrounded the Shaman in training and went in for the kill. Lifting up Mending Root, Stronghoof crushed the Centaur beneath the wooden behemoth and for the first time tasted blood on his palms. Unsure of what to make of the raw emotions that flooded through him, Stronghoof quickly returned home and spoke not one word of what happened to Hurok.

Months passed and the events that unfolded with the Centaur were stuck in his mind, Stronghoof was plagued with an incurable case of spasms. His hands would shake every time he lifted Mending Root, to the point where he couldn’t lift the ancestral weapon any longer. Hurok felt it was time to test Stronghoof on his skills, bringing him out into the field to try and call forth the elements just as he does. With each attempt to call out to them, Stronghoof failed, each time more embarrassing them the last.

Hurok said nothing and left Stronghoof to wallow in his own failure. Wrought with anger in both himself and his father,Stronghoof proceeded to rampage, destroying several surrounding trees. Grabbing the attention of a small group of Centaur nearby, they charged the Tauren who had reached a very unstable point. Breaking the neck of one Centaur, Stronghoof used the limp body to crush the second Centaur. Striking fear into the last of the Centaur attackers,Stronghoof roared as he rushed the beast and bifurcated him in two.

Breathing heavily, Stronghoof couldn’t help but smile. The shaking disappeared instantly and the uncertainty vanished. He had figured out what he must do. Taking the Centaur’s weapons, which consisted of two axes and a shattered halberd, Stronghoof returned home. Before Hurok, Stronghoof told his father that he would never follow the path of a Shaman. Hurok, out raged at this comment, cursed and mocked Stronghoof and even going as far as to blame Stronghoof for his families death and his brother’s self-exile.

Pushed over the edge by his father’s judgmental actions and words, Stronghoof raised the shattered Halberd to his father and pierced him through the chest. Standing above his father’s bloody corpse,Stronghoof swore to never stop killing. Chaos and Fury had taken control of Stronghoof; his once shamanistic beliefs had become nothing more than pure Rage.

Sometime following the events that unfolded with the Lich King in Northrend, Stronghoof was found by a group of cultists who wanted Stronghoof to work for them. After being paid a substantial amount of gold, Stronghoof accepted delightfully. After working alongside this cult for several months, Stronghoof finally joined their ranks taking on the name Corrupter Stronghoof.
