    To anyone who does archery.

Real quick question to anyone whose a regular practitioner, enthusiast or just knows about the subject.

How good is the Martin Moab bow?

Are you into hunting or target shooting? It kind of applies here!

Holy christ when did concave, treated wood with resin-coated string become polycarbonate pulley systems with dampening and suppression systems. The description reads like a sci-fi vehicle specification or... robocop.

For target shooting I'd highlight recommend going traditional (longbow or re-curve bow) instead of compound. Way more challenging and rewarding in my experience.

I've always sorta thought of compound bows for hunting. When it comes to target shooting, I always thought going the more traditional route would be more interesting. I've never fired a bow, though.

And if you are really good you hunt with trad bows... its a lot harder though.

It is not harder in any way. I have hunted with both compound and traditional-yeah you need to not sit at full draw for five minutes like you can with a compound, but if you are doing it right you would never have to do that anyway :P

For target archery, saying "It is more challenging and fun with traditional" that is an opinion. It is, again, not any harder in anyway if you know what you are doing. Just a slightly different skill set, and different targeting mechanisms.
