why do females nowdays reject moustaches

ok so I have a beard and that seems to scare off a fair number(of my already small) female dating prospects, but some don't seem to mind it

I use to have a moustache though it seemed like they all disliked it

what gives, why don't ladies like the stache

see I was born in the wrong century, I should have been born in the 1800's when dudes could wear moustaches and obviously women liked it

It just seems like any hair, maybe except hair on the head, is 'gross' nowadays.
You see, there's this thing called "aggro". It's a very complicated, very technical roleplaying expression.
Loosely translated, it means "the priest dies".

Well, if they cannot handle guys with beard and / or moustache they might not be able to handle the Manlines Overload that comes with it.
    I'm a stranger, I'm a changer.
    And I'm danger... maybe...

This, it's just current fashion... Though I suppose a moustache and a pair of HUGE glasses with no glass could get you a few hipster chicks *shiver*.... Get a beard man! It's awesome! Nuff said. RAWR!

... Though some men look like pervs with a moustache... Well that or the archvillain from every old movie...

This aswell, since current fashion is that guys should look like tall, lean kids, instead of MEN!

I bet he had women lining up to meet him, nowdays that kind of stache would not get appreciated

There are several things I associate with moustaches, and none of them are sexy.

    Hitler
    1970s porn star
    Ned Flanders

It's not that I'm against facial hair - I like beards on men (as long as they're kept tidy and not a shaggy mess), and prefer some stubble at least rather than clean shaven. Just moustaches are... not attractive (see aforementioned examples of moustachioed ickyness).

I'm not about to shave off my moustache or goatee for any female. I keep my facial hair neatly trimmed and groomed and haven't ever gotten a complaint. I keep the rest of my face closely shaven using a merkur mergress razor, silvertip badger brush, and a puck of tabac shaving soap. She appreciates this greatly. If a man doesn't like having facial hair, thats one thing, but damn some female wanting me to go back and look like some prepubscent boy.

Pffft that was hardly a moustache, it was more of a black skinrash.

Well if it's really short, it stings when kissing (tho it might look good in some cases). If it's slightly longer, it just looks bad, real bad. If it's like in the 1st picture.. well, no one wants to kiss with a walrus! :O At least i wouldn't xD

Hmm, one exception tho.. Johnny Depp as captain Jack Sparrow. Not bad at all

Some really cool looks in here, Imagine how much less man ''Hulk Hogan'' for example would have been with no stache.

Several Indian tribes see this holiday as the beginning of a process by which they tragically lost their land, and their population was decimated. Every year Indians come together in Plymouth to commemorate their "national day of mourning."

How can one like what in Germany is called a "Schnubbi" (the "u" is actually pronunced like he letter "u" in this context - for you native speakers)

I will answer this with two pictures.
this is probably how you look:

this is how Tom Selleck looks:

there's a huge difference between just having one, and incorporating one into your overall style.

an U is always pronounced like an U. there's a difference between U and Ü.

Because they itch the woman's nose when they kiss a man with a mustache.

i think we just have to accept that the 'stash is out of style right now. it'll probably come back into fashion someday.
