Laptop question

Hey all,

I have a question in regards to a laptop that I am thinking about purchasing. The laptop in question is listed HERE on Newegg.

Now, the main purpose of this laptop is for web browsing and MS office applications. This laptop is for my father-in-law, who is quite computer illiterate. The Laptop is currently on sale for $70 off. My main concern is that I want to get him something somewhat decent, but not a pay a lot for it due to his needs, or lack thereof.

Do you guys think that I should pull the trigger on this or hold off for Cyber Monday in hopes of some better deals?

You won't be seeing too many laptops dip below $300 mate, best to take advantage of that pickup while you can.

That is what I figured which I why I was torn between pulling the trigger and holding off. Thanks for the feedback.
